The Fandom Fantasies is an award winning performance troupe located in Cleveland, Ohio. We are Ohio’s only Nerdlesque Troupe! Our mission is to facilitate an inclusive and diverse production that celebrates performers across the spectrum of identity, including BIPOC, plus size bodies, performers with disabilities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and more. We want to create a space where anyone can get nerdy and flirty. We also highlight all forms of performance art, including burlesque, drag, comedy, circus, aerial, and more!
The Fandom Fantasies began as a brainchild of Cleveland performers Nichole Fox, Jo Malley, and Issa Vybe while studying burlesque together in 2019. Over the course of the pandemic, the three identified the gaps in the local burlesque industry and sought to create a space where everyone felt welcome and equal to their peers, and felt comfortable displaying their art.
The Fandom Fantasies are currently co-produced by Nichole Fox, Jo Malley, Heather and Lace, and Lola Loveletter. As a group, they have wildly different performance styles and strengths, and together form an unstoppable production team!
